Meet Your Teaching Artists!
Roque Berlanga (Founder/Artistic Director)Roque has been with APTC for 14 years! Roque is a proud Latinx director, actor, teaching artist, and Associate Member of SDC. Roque currently serves as an Artistic Advisor for the Forestburgh Playhouse in upstate New York. Roque is a former resident director for Stagedoor Manor for several seasons. Roque served as Artistic Director of the Allenberry Playhouse for three years in Pennsylvania and was the first Latinx to do so in the theater's fifty-seven year history. While in California, Roque trained with the Steppenwolf Theatre Company, The Second City, and received his BA in Theatre from CSU Stanislaus. Kate Wilson (Executive Director)Kate has been with APTC for 11 years! She has spent the last ten years working as a stage manager around the country. She is a proud member of Actor's Equity Association and has been involved in a wide variety of productions including Nice Work If You Can Get It (First National Tour), Sleep No More, and Theatre For One. She also has served as the Production Stage Manager for Forestburgh Playhouse and Allenberry Playhouse, as the Assistant Stage Manager for Barrington Stage Company and Cortland Repertory Theatre, and as the Associate Artistic Director for Actors Professional Theatre Conservatory.

Hannah Stephens (Resident Director)Hannah Stephens is a New York City-based theatre director, actor, and educator, and she is proud and thrilled to be a member of the Theatre [Untitled] team! A native of Birmingham, Alabama, Hannah holds a BFA in Acting from The University of Montevallo. She has completed national tours with both The Missoula Children's Theatre and The National Theatre for Children. Currently, Hannah is a resident teaching artist, director, and the Communications Director at The Play Group Theatre. Hannah has served as the Associate Director on Claire circa 2007-2016 and The Voice of Broadway. She also works with APTC as a teaching artist and director.

Drew Patti (Associate Artistic Director, Senior Teaching Artist, APTC Alum)Drew has been with APTC for 14 years! Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Drew is a proud Wagner College alum in Staten Island, New York for Theatre Performance. Drew is beyond excited to have the opportunity to bring APTC to its new home! Drew was awarded the Hershey Theatre Apollo Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Musical for his portrayal of Pippin in Pippin. Favorite theatre credits include: Fun Home and A Christmas Carol (Open Stage of Harrisburg), Prospect High: Brooklyn, Pippin, and Into the Woods (Capital Area School for the Arts), The Wedding Singer and 13! (APTC), and Damn Yankees (Allenberry Playhouse).

Emily Reusswig (Senior Teaching Artist, APTC Alum)Emily is a recent graduate of the prestigious The Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in NYC. She has been performing in community and regional theatre productions since the age of 7 and is an APTC alumni. Most recently, she played the role of Eli in Let the Right One In (directed by Ben Hartley). Emily is excited to work with and welcome the APTC young artists this summer!

Carly Lafferty (Senior Teaching Artist, APTC Alum)Carly Lafferty (she/her) is thrilled to be returning to APTC as a Senior Teaching Artist! After falling in love with theater and attending camp in 2011 with Roque and Kate, she's been itching to return to the camp family. She participated in APTC at Allenberry in PA and since has performed on the Allenberry mainstage, Open Stage of Harrisburg, Servant Stage Company, Fulton Theatre, and Hershey Park to make a few. Being here with her theater family and being on the other side of things as a camp counselor is a dream come true. Black lives matter!
